Tutoring Experience

I have provided ongoing one-to-one support in IB Maths and Physics, helping students improve their understanding of difficult topics and work more confidently through exam-style problems. My teaching covers Maths AA and AI at SL and HL, alongside Physics at SL and HL. I draw on a wide collection of IB notes, worked examples and past-paper questions, as well as my university training in advanced mathematics and physics, to give students focused and relevant practice.

Tutoring Approach

I begin by identifying which parts of the topic or question are causing difficulty, then explain the underlying idea before introducing a method. In Maths AA and AI, I use worked examples followed by progressively harder problems so students learn when and why to apply each technique. For Physics, I connect formulas to the physical situation and practise multi-step calculations. Lessons also include IB-style questions, resource selection and careful review of errors.
