Tutoring Experience

I’ve tutored for years, working online and in person across challenging STEM subjects. Most of my teaching has involved helping students move from memorising facts or formulas to understanding how ideas connect. I’ve supported students with Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Calculus, including those preparing for AP, A-Levels, IGCSE, GCSE and IB exams who need clear explanations, syllabus-linked practice, HL/SL support, triple science coverage and exam question work.

Tutoring Approach

I don’t usually start by reteaching a whole chapter. I ask a few questions or set a short problem first, then work out exactly where the gap is. From there, I use diagrams, worked examples and exam-style questions to build the topic back up. For AP, A-Level, IGCSE, GCSE and IB students, I also focus on wording, mark schemes, timing and how to recognise what a question is really asking.
