I’m a Physics and Maths tutor with a PhD in Physics and Astronomy and an MSc in Physics, with research in computational astrophysics. Since 2019, I’ve taught IB DP, IGCSE and A-Level Physics, led a Science Department and taught at college level. I also tutor IB Maths AA/AI, GCSE/IGCSE and A-Level Maths, AP Physics and SAT Maths. Tutoring Experience

Since 2019, I have taught Physics and STEM subjects across international schools, colleges and private tuition. My experience includes IB DP Physics SL/HL, MYP Physics, IGCSE, AS and A-Level Physics, as well as postsecondary Physics and Computer Science. I have led a Science Department and supported students with IAs, exams and university preparation. In tutoring I also teach IB Maths AA/AI SL/HL, GCSE/IGCSE and A-Level Maths, AP Physics and SAT Maths, with a focus on exam timing.

Tutoring Approach

I teach from first principles rather than asking students to memorise formulas. In Physics, I use diagrams, simulations and real situations to build the idea before moving into multi-step problems. Maths lessons focus on structure, pattern recognition and checking each stage of the working, with students explaining why they have chosen a particular method. Past papers, mark schemes and targeted error review are used to sharpen exam technique, while I adjust the pace and explanation to the student.
