My name is Alex and I am a seasoned IBDP, AP, A-Level and IGCSE teacher, as well as college communications and English Lecturer with more than a decade of international teaching experience. Tutoring Approach

My approach is student-centred, which means that I specifically tailor my lessons to meet the individual needs of each student.

While the goals of my students may be the same—for instance, to receive a great score on an IB Philosophy exam or Extended Essay—no two students will take the same path towards achieving these goals.

My approach entails identifying both the strengths and the weaknesses of each student. This allows me to get a better sense of how I can best serve them as their tutor, and it is on this basis that I subsequently work on creating an individual plan for each student I work with, thus ensuring that their goals are successfully met.
