Personally Interviewed

Our tutors go through a rigorous selection process, having been interviewed to assess their teaching skills and subject knowledge. They have extensive tutoring experience with a track record of success, helping students achieve their academic goals.

Tutoring Experience

I’ve taught many IB students across Maths AI, Global Politics, Geography, Spanish B and ESS. My students have achieved 7s, and I also help with Internal Assessments, exam preparation and homework. Having scored 43/45 in the IB, I draw on both subject knowledge and practical experience of its assessments. In lessons, I help students work through exam questions step by step, connect topics and develop explanations or arguments that demonstrate their understanding and answer the question.

Tutoring Approach

We work through practice questions together and discuss how to approach them. I explain course content through an example, then help students connect it to other topics so they can use what they know in a fuller answer. For Geography, Global Politics and ESS, those links are especially useful for developing analysis. I apply the same focus on understanding and method to exam papers, Internal Assessments and homework, helping students develop a way of working they can use independently.
