Tutoring Experience

Since 2016, I have taught IB Environmental Systems and Societies with a focus on fostering a deeper understanding of the relationships between societies and their environmental impact. I also guided students in Cambridge Integrated Science and IGCSE Biology and supported AP Environmental Science until 2022.

Currently, I mentor Year 3 students in IB MYP Science and Years 4 and 5 students in IB MYP Biology, alongside in-depth exploration of IB ESS. I also assist students with Internal Assessments (IAs) and Extended Essays related to ESS, ensuring they meet the rigorous IB standards. My five years of tutoring in France further honed my ability to deliver impactful lessons across diverse subjects and cultural contexts.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to teaching ESS is centred on tailoring lessons to individual student goals. I start with a review of core concepts, then provide practical problems or case studies to apply their knowledge, particularly in real-world environmental contexts. For IB exam preparation, I use past papers and detailed analysis of questions to develop exam confidence. My method is adaptive, engaging, and focused on helping students connect theory with practice.
