Tutoring Experience

I began my career in an international school setting, where I supported students adjusting to English-medium education. This gave me valuable insight into the challenges many global learners face: language gaps, unfamiliar question styles and fast-paced reasoning tests. Over the years, I’ve built a strong track record preparing students for the UKiset’s Verbal, Non-Verbal and Quantitative elements, as well as the Common Entrance subjects including English, Maths and Humanities.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching is gentle but purposeful. I focus on building the underlying thinking skills that the UKiset and Common Entrance genuinely test, rather than drilling endless worksheets. Lessons include targeted reasoning practice, vocabulary development, timed challenges and regular discussions so students can explain their thinking clearly. I adapt my methods to suit each learner’s pace and personality, creating an environment where they’re encouraged to try, question and progress steadily. Above all, I want students to feel prepared not just for their exams, but for life in a new school where confidence and curiosity matter just as much as scores.
