Tutoring Experience

I have 10 years of teaching experience in maths and have worked with students across school, college and university levels. Over that time, I have supported learners preparing for IB Maths AA SL and HL, IB Maths AI SL and HL, A-Level Maths, A-Level Further Maths, IGCSE Maths and GCSE Maths. I have taught in one-to-one lessons and group sessions, and I am used to helping students who feel stuck with algebra, functions, calculus and other topics that need clear explanation and practice.

My approach is steady and practical. I usually begin by going through the theory step by step, then I work through exercises with the student so they can see how each method is used. I keep lessons interactive and adjust the pace depending on what the student needs. Where a topic feels too abstract, I bring in real life examples to make it easier to follow. The aim is to make difficult parts of maths feel more manageable through clear teaching, repetition and regular question practice in class.
