With over 30 years of teaching experience, I bring passion and clarity to IGCSE, A-level and IB Chemistry. I am currently a High School Chemistry teacher for Cambridge and have helped many students progress from struggling to excelling, including achieving top exam results and pursuing careers in medicine and science. Tutoring Experience

Since 2010, I have worked as a private tutor supporting students across IGCSE, AS/A Level and IB Chemistry at both Standard and Higher Level. I also tutor Biochemistry at university level, including first-year medical students at leading universities in South Africa, the UK and Europe. This wide-ranging experience gives me a strong understanding of curriculum demands, exam expectations and effective preparation strategies across multiple systems.

My approach is personalised, exam-focused and adaptable. I assess each student’s current understanding and learning style, then tailor lessons to build strong foundations or refine advanced exam technique. Sessions focus on clear explanations, structured practice and developing confidence with exam-style questions. I aim not only to improve grades, but to help students see the real-world relevance of Chemistry and enjoy mastering the subject.
