Tutoring Experience

I have more than 20 years of experience teaching and tutoring Maths and Physics across levels and systems. My work includes many years teaching IB DP Physics, alongside support for IB Maths AA SL. I help students strengthen core concepts, work through multi-step problems and prepare for IB assessments and exams with structured practice for exams. As a member of the Ontario College of Teachers and a certified IB Physics educator, I bring substantial classroom experience to one-to-one tuition.

Tutoring Approach

I adapt each lesson to the student’s current level, learning style and goals. In Physics, I use diagrams, real-world examples and guided calculations to connect concepts with equations before moving into timed exam-style problems. In Maths, I focus on method, reasoning and accurate working for exams rather than memorising steps. I use short assessments, targeted practice and feedback to identify gaps, revisit weaker areas and gradually reduce support as the student becomes more independent.
