I studied Geography before completing an M.Ed and taught in IB World Schools in Japan, Singapore and the U.S. I support ESS, MYP, IGCSE Geography and Extended Essays as well. I enjoy helping students interpret case studies and link them to exam questions.

Tutoring Experience
I’ve taught IB DP and IGCSE Geography for more than 10 years in international schools and have worked as an IB Geography examiner since 2017. Since 2020 I’ve tutored students online from across Asia and Australia, supporting IB Geography SL/HL, ESS, Global Perspectives and Extended Essays. I’ve also contributed to Cambridge resources through Oxford University Press and regularly guide students through IA and EE planning and structure for stronger coursework outcomes and results.
Tutoring Approach
My sessions focus on how IB examiners actually mark Geography papers. We spend time practising past questions, breaking down command terms, and building strong case study knowledge. For coursework like the IA or EE, I help students organise their ideas and improve structure. I also use maps, diagrams and current events so students can connect theory with real geographical examples. I share practical tips from examiner reports so students understand common mistakes and what top answers look like.
