Tutoring Experience

I began tutoring while still in school, first helping an ESS student who was struggling with exam timing and organisation. Since then, I’ve worked with IB students in Psychology, English Literature, German B and ESS, including those with dyslexia and ADHD. I adapt materials carefully and focus on clarity. Over time, I’ve supported students in improving predicted grades as well as final grades. I also work with IB MYP students, helping them build strong foundations before moving into the Diploma Programme.

Tutoring Approach

My sessions start with a proper conversation. I like to understand how a student thinks before diving into content. For Psychology and ESS, we practise structuring 9 and 22 mark responses clearly. In English Literature, we break texts down line by line and plan essays under timed conditions. With German B, we focus on speaking confidence and written accuracy. I ask direct questions, keep things practical, and make sure students leave each lesson knowing exactly what to revise next.
