Tutoring Experience

I’ve worked with IB students across Maths AA, Physics and Chemistry, as well as supporting MYP Maths. This has included helping students keep up with class content, prepare for exams, and work through past paper questions. Having recently completed the IB myself, I’m familiar with the syllabus, common mistakes, and how mark schemes are applied, which helps when guiding students through exam-style questions. I also support IA planning and revision strategies to improve exam technique and accuracy.

Tutoring Approach

I like to keep lessons straightforward and focused on what actually comes up in exams. We go over the key idea first, then spend most of the time applying it through past paper questions and structured practice. I often use timed questions and topic-based sheets, and I’ll set extra work where useful. If something doesn’t click straight away, we’ll break it down and go through it step by step. We also review mark schemes in detail so you understand how answers are structured and how to score maximum marks.
