Tutoring Experience

My teaching career began in London in 2008, where I taught Business Studies and Economics at AS Level in an established department. Since then, I’ve taught in international schools in the UK, UAE and Japan, and have worked as an IB DP examiner for Business and Economics since 2015. I now tutor students online across IB, A-Level, IGCSE and GCSE Economics and Business, with a strong focus on exam preparation, written response skills, assessment criteria and extended essay-style evaluation.

Tutoring Approach

I keep lessons practical and closely linked to the syllabus, whether the student is preparing for IB, A-Level, IGCSE or GCSE. In Economics, I focus on clear diagrams, real-world examples and stronger evaluation. In Business, I help students apply theory to case studies and write answers that meet assessment criteria. Lessons usually involve discussion, targeted questioning, past-paper work and clear feedback on how to improve. I also tailor examples to the course and student's targets.
