Tutoring Experience

I have taught students across IB Maths and Physics, as well as GCSE/IGCSE Maths and Physics, through online tuition. My support covers new content, revision, past-paper practice and exam preparation, with particular focus on difficult calculations, multi-step problems, unit checks and reading exam questions. I draw on strong IB results and an Aerospace Engineering background to explain mathematical and physical ideas clearly, while adapting the pace and level of challenge to each student.

Tutoring Approach

I tailor lessons to how each student learns and what they need to improve. We can start with new content, revisit weak theory or go straight into questions the student has brought to the lesson. In Maths and Physics, I break harder problems into smaller steps and check alternative methods, then use practice questions and past papers to test whether the method can be applied independently. I focus on reasoning rather than forcing one fixed solution, as long as the student's method is valid and clear.
