Tutoring Experience

I’ve taught IB Business Management at both SL and HL, supporting students with 10 and 20 mark questions, case study analysis and IAs. A large part of my work focuses on helping students structure extended responses clearly and develop balanced evaluation, which is key for 6s and 7s. I regularly work with students in their final IB years, preparing them thoroughly for mocks and the examinations. We also review past papers in detail so students become confident with timing and markscheme expectations.

Tutoring Approach

My lessons are structured and tailored to the student in front of me. In Business Management, we focus on applying theory accurately to the case study rather than memorising content in isolation. I place strong emphasis on markscheme language, clear paragraph structure and developing justified arguments. Students receive detailed feedback on essays and IAs so they understand exactly what examiners look for and how to improve in each assessment component.
