Tutoring Experience

I have taught IB Mathematics, working with Diploma Programme students on core topics, exam technique and past-paper practice. Before that, I spent two years tutoring Mathematics and Informatics, giving me experience across both numerical problem-solving and computational thinking. I also support IB Computer Science and SAT preparation, using structured questions, timed practice and clear explanations to strengthen accuracy, reasoning, speed and timing across varied question types.

Tutoring Approach

I start by finding the point where a student’s reasoning breaks down, then rebuild the topic from there. In Maths, I focus on method choice, working and explaining why each step is valid. Computer Science lessons use logic, algorithms and worked examples, comparing different methods before moving into independent problems. For SAT Maths and English, I use timed sets, error review and elimination strategies. I only correct methods when necessary, so students develop their own reliable way of solving problems.
