Qualified Online Tutor | BA European Law

I tutor IB Economics, Physics and Maths AA at SL and HL, alongside English A and Global Politics at SL. European Law has taught me to examine evidence and question claims. Lessons cover both calculations and well-supported arguments: explaining how you reached an answer, choosing evidence to support a point and working out what a question actually asks you to do.

Tutoring Experience

I offer IB support in Economics, Physics and Maths AA at SL and HL, plus English A and Global Politics at SL. In quantitative subjects, we can work on calculations, diagrams and explaining each step. For written work, the focus is on selecting evidence and developing an argument that answers the question. Support can include reviewing classwork, revisiting difficult topics and preparing for exams, with the balance depending on your subject, course level and the work brought to lessons.

Tutoring Approach

Bring a question you've tried, including the working or paragraph you weren't sure about. That gives us something specific to discuss. In Maths and Physics, we'll see why a method applies before using it. In Economics, we'll connect diagrams to the explanation. English A and Global Politics need close attention to evidence: what does it show and does it support your claim? After discussing an example, you'll attempt another so we can see what you can do without being talked through it.
