Tutoring Approach
I start with a diagnostic session to find gaps, goals and the student’s current way of working. Lessons then combine clear explanations, active recall, spaced repetition, past paper practice and detailed feedback. I pay close attention to mark schemes, command words, timing and exam technique. For science topics, I often use diagrams, concept maps and questioning to make sure students understand the idea rather than memorising it, with progress tracked each lesson.
