Personally Interviewed

Our tutors go through a rigorous selection process, having been interviewed to assess their teaching skills and subject knowledge. They have extensive tutoring experience with a track record of success, helping students achieve their academic goals.

Tutoring Experience

My tutoring experience includes individual support for MYP and DP students, helping them work through difficult topics and prepare for exams. Most of my teaching has been in person, and I also offer online sessions. I support Maths AI, Economics, Physics and Chemistry, with an emphasis on logical problem-solving and targeted practice. Working with students over time has helped me recognise where understanding breaks down and adapt explanations to the difficulties they bring to lessons.

Tutoring Approach

I like to make the logic behind a solution clear before asking students to practise it. We work through exercises and compare answers with the mark scheme, looking closely at what earns the mark. My preparation involved extensive past-paper practice and discussions with examiners, which inform how I explain assessment criteria. I choose questions around the areas a student finds difficult and revisit those skills through practice, adjusting the explanation when a method hasn’t clicked.
