Tutoring Experience

For over five years, I have been helping students demystify IB Mathematics. With over 2000 hours of tutoring under my belt, I have had the pleasure to work with a diverse group of students from all around the world, thanks to online tutoring platforms.

Many of my students have reported an increase in their grades and overall understanding of mathematics. I've also assisted several students with their Mathematics Extended Essay and Internal Assessment, most of which have received a grade of A or B. In addition to one-on-one tutoring, I've conducted group sessions, where we discuss concepts and solve problems collaboratively.

One of my most rewarding experiences was guiding a student who initially struggled with Math HL to eventually score a 6 in her final exams.

Tutoring Approach

My tutoring approach revolves around understanding and tailoring to each student's unique needs and learning style. I firmly believe in an interactive learning environment where students can actively engage with the material and explore mathematical concepts.

In our lessons, I focus on building a strong foundation of fundamental concepts, followed by extensive problem-solving practice. I emphasize the importance of logical reasoning and a systematic approach to solving problems. To prepare for exams, we work on past paper questions and I provide tips on exam techniques and time management.

I also believe in the importance of reflection, encouraging students to review and learn from their mistakes. It's my goal to not only help students excel in their exams but also to foster a deep appreciation for mathematics.
