I teach Chemistry at GCSE, IGCSE, AS, A-Level, IBDP SL/HL and AP, with over ten years of classroom and tutoring experience. Tutoring Experience

I've taught hundreds of students in international schools and online over more than a decade. I teach GCSE, IGCSE, AS and A-Level Chemistry, IB Chemistry at SL and HL, and AP Chemistry. My work has included exam preparation, laboratory supervision and support for both high-achieving students and learners with special educational needs. Examining Chemistry papers gives me a practical view of assessment, which I use when reviewing answers and explaining where a response needs more depth.

Tutoring Approach

An answer can contain the right Chemistry but still leave out a detailed explanation. We look at both: whether you understand the idea and whether your working makes this clear. I use diagrams and examples to explain difficult concepts, then choose past-paper questions that test them. If a calculation goes wrong, we trace it back to the step that caused trouble. I'll adapt the pace and level of guidance, with time to revisit the underlying Chemistry before you attempt another question.
