Tutoring Experience

For four years, I’ve helped IB Economics, Geography and English students with effective exam strategy, essay structure, Internal Assessments and Extended Essays. I’ve also tutored undergraduates in Financial Economics, Microeconomics, Statistics and Probability. As a Teaching Assistant, I lead support sessions, review problem sets and grade assignments, working with professors to address analytical difficulties. I help students build clear arguments and explain every step when solving problems.

Tutoring Approach

A good explanation should give students something they can use in their next answer. I break down difficult concepts, then work through how to apply them to a question. For IB Economics and Geography, I help students organise essays and connect their knowledge to the task. In SAT Maths and English, we review the reasoning behind answers and the steps that caused difficulty. I adapt the balance of explanation, practice and feedback to what the student needs, with time to revisit errors.
