I’ve been tutoring IB Sciences since 2015, mainly working with IB Physics, Chemistry and ESS at Standard Level and Higher Level. I’ve also supported students with IGCSE and A-Level sciences, as well as Advanced Placement (AP) content. Most of my students are working towards exams or IAs, so I’m used to helping with past papers, data analysis and structuring answers properly. I have worked with both local and international school students, including MYP science courses.

Tutoring Experience
I’ve worked with IB DP students across Physics, Chemistry and ESS, including both SL and HL, as well as MYP Sciences. I also support IGCSE, A-Level and AP students, often focusing on exam prep, IA guidance and topic reinforcement. Alongside this, I’ve taught Maths and Science more broadly at lower levels, covering algebra, geometry and general science. My experience ranges from primary through to pre-university, with a strong focus on IB pathways. I also help students improve exam technique skills.
Tutoring Approach
I tend to keep lessons quite focused and practical. We’ll usually start by identifying what the student is struggling with, then go through the concept step by step before applying it to exam-style questions. I use past papers a lot, especially for IB, so students get used to how questions are worded and how marks are awarded. I also encourage students to work things out themselves where possible, stepping in to guide rather than just explain everything straight away. This helps build confidence over time.
