Tutoring Experience

For the past eight years, I've been nurturing the minds of IB and GCSE students in Chemistry and Physics. My journey began right after graduation, when I realized my knack for breaking down tough concepts. Over the years, I've assisted over 200 students, many of whom went on to ace their exams. Besides curriculum tutoring, I've also prepared students for university entrance exams, ensuring they have the foundational knowledge required. I've collaborated with international schools in Zurich, conducted group sessions, and offered private one-on-one classes. I consider my role to be not just a tutor but a mentor who offers guidance beyond just textbooks.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching philosophy is rooted in understanding, not memorization. I begin by assessing the unique learning style of each student. Some are visual learners, others kinesthetic. I adapt accordingly. While theoretical understanding is crucial, I emphasize real-world applications to make concepts relatable. Mock tests, interactive sessions, and practical demonstrations are integral to my approach. Feedback is continuous and constructive, ensuring that each student knows where they stand. The ultimate goal? To foster a genuine appreciation for science and equip my students with the confidence to tackle any challenge.
