Tutoring Experience

I have worked as an IB tutor for the past few years, supporting several IB students with core topics, problem-solving and strengthening their foundations before starting the Diploma. Through teaching students at different levels, I’ve learned to adjust my explanations to suit how each individual understands a concept, rather than relying on a single fixed approach. I have also supported students preparing for assessments and internal coursework, helping them feel more prepared going into exams.

Tutoring Approach

My lessons are structured but flexible. I usually start by making sure the theory is genuinely understood, not just memorised, then we work through exam-style questions to test it. If something doesn’t click, we slow down and look at it from another angle. Having completed the IB recently, I focus heavily on how questions are phrased and how to maximise marks under timed conditions. I also encourage students to ask questions freely so we can address gaps as soon as they appear.
