Tutoring Experience

Tutoring Approach

I start by finding out how a student processes information, then build a method that suits them. In A-Level and GCSE/IGCSE Literature, we break texts into themes, language, form and structure before turning ideas into evidence-led arguments. For GCSE/IGCSE Language, I focus on comprehension, analysis and purposeful writing. I use model paragraphs, detailed planning and timed exam practice, gradually reducing support so students can interpret questions and write independently.
