Tutoring Experience

I have taught Economics to students with different levels of understanding, creating original worksheets and presentations to support lessons and exam revision. I adapt explanations to every student’s level, using diagrams and summary notes to revisit difficult ideas and support revision. My independent research explores business strategy and economic models. Alongside this, I achieved 7s in IB Economics HL, Business HL and English SL, plus IGCSE A*s in Economics, Business and English.

Tutoring Approach

I’m a visual learner myself, so my lessons make good use of diagrams, summary notes and memorable acronyms. That might mean drawing an Economics model, mapping a Business case study or setting out an English essay plan. I talk through the reasoning, check understanding and return to anything that needs another explanation. Worksheets give students a way to practise, while regular revision brings earlier topics back into the lesson. I adjust the materials and pace to suit every student.
