Tutoring Experience

I have taught more than 40 students across A-Level Maths, Biology and Chemistry and GCSE/IGCSE Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics in private online tuition. My work includes full-topic teaching, revision, homework support and exam preparation. I regularly use mock papers and targeted questions to identify gaps, then revisit the underlying content where needed. This has given me experience supporting different abilities across calculation-heavy and theory-based science topics and levels.

Tutoring Approach

I use questions early in the lesson to find out whether the issue is knowledge, method or exam technique. We often work through mock papers together, but I also write targeted questions when a student needs practice on a particular skill. If an answer is unclear, I return to the underlying Maths or science and rebuild it step by step. The aim is for students to understand the topic around the question, and then apply the same reasoning to unfamiliar exam problems under timed conditions.
