Tutoring Experience

I have taught more than 40 students across A-Level Maths, Biology and Chemistry and GCSE/IGCSE Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Sessions range from full-topic teaching and revision to mock-paper walkthroughs and targeted exam practice. I also support UCAT preparation, using timed questions and error review to sharpen decision-making. My Chemistry training is particularly useful when teaching calculations, reactions, unfamiliar science questions and practical exam-style questions.

Tutoring Approach

I build lessons around questions rather than long explanations. We start with a mock paper or topic problem, then use the student’s working to find where understanding breaks down. For Maths and Physics, I focus on method, calculations and multi-step reasoning; Biology and Chemistry combine concepts with application and data. I write extra questions to test the same skill in a new context, while UCAT sessions use timed sets and error review to improve speed and accuracy under pressure.
