I have a BA in Civil Engineering and an MSc in Theoretical Physics. Maths and physics have always been my strong suit, and I love putting that to use with GCSE and A-Level students. For about three years I've tutored online, explaining things clearly is the part I enjoy most. A lot of my students come for exam prep, but I'm equally happy building the basics. Mechanics and calculus are my favourites.

Tutoring Experience

I've tutored privately for three years, mostly Physics and Maths at GCSE and A-Level standard, working one to one both online and in person. My focus has always been on making sure students properly understand the core ideas before we move on to past papers and exam-style questions, which tends to make the exam prep itself a lot more straightforward.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to teaching is patient and explanatory. I care deeply about conceptual clarification of the topics rather than breezing past them. I like to give time to the students to learn new methods and understandings. I believe in trying to match the pace with which the students are comfortable and not losing the sight of what is most important, the students' well-being.
