Tutoring Experience

I’ve taught IB students in Biology and Maths, focusing mainly on IB Biology SL/HL and Maths AA SL topics that students often find difficult. I’ve also supported IGCSE students in Biology and Physics. In addition, I’ve run crash courses for IB and IGCSE English literary analysis and helped younger students with Maths and English. Most of my tutoring is one-to-one and focused on exam preparation, practice questions and strengthening weaker areas of the syllabus and core concepts.

My lessons are tailored to the student rather than following a fixed structure. I usually start by identifying which topics or exam skills are causing difficulty, then break them down step by step using simple explanations and real-world examples. I also prepare targeted worksheets and IB-style questions so students practise applying what they’ve learned. This active recall approach helps students retain content long term and feel more confident in exams and assessments.
