Currently studying for an MSc in Neuroscience at the University of Oxford, from where I graduated last Summer with a First Class BA in Neuroscience. Since leaving Westminster School, I have gained over three years of private tutoring experience, primarily with GCSE, International Baccalaureate and A-level Biology and Chemistry tuition to date.

Tutoring Approach

I have always received positive feedback on my tuition style and am always keen to adapt to the needs of the individual student. I am conscious that everyone learns in a different way, so I have a range of strategies and resources at my disposal and will switch up my approach if I think it would help the student to understand.

Providing students a good understanding of the material, rather than just feeding them the correct answers, has always been my goal; I believe that you can only really excel in a subject if you have a solid understanding of the fundamental concepts, and my students tell me that they understand things in a more robust way after our sessions together.
