I'm Joseph and studied MChem at Oxford. I provide tuition for Chemistry and Maths at A-Level and University levels. I have spent much of my time teaching during my studies. From this, I have gained insight into how students best tackle difficult topics and gain enthusiasm for their studies.

Tutoring Experience

I have tutored during my time at both school and university.

At school I did volunteer tutoring in GCSE English, Maths and Science along with extensive A-level peer tutoring in Chemistry, Maths and Physics.

While at university, I have tutored A-level students on Oxford Chemistry interviews, along with many of my peers on undergraduate level Chemistry. I have experience teaching Chemistry at all levels.

Tutoring Approach

For Chemistry and Maths tuition, the key to mastering these areas is concise study and exam questions.

My tutoring will, therefore, focus mostly on exam practise and selective consolidation of topics found to be difficult by the student.

For Chemistry Interviews, preparation will focus on doing chemistry interview questions and discussion of what makes a successful interview candidate.

In many cases, there is no right answer to the question asked it is how you get to your answer that matters most.
