Tutoring Experience

I’ve worked with students aged 14–18 both privately and within school settings, supporting IB subjects as well as general Maths and Science. Much of my work has focused on IB students preparing for mocks and final exams, alongside reviewing Internal Assessments and Extended Essays. As a recent graduate, I’m very familiar with current markschemes and expectations, and I’ve taught IB students across different year levels in both HL and SL subjects across a range of ability levels.

Tutoring Approach

I usually start by discussing a student’s IB predicted grades, subject levels (HL or SL) and target score to identify gaps. From there, we work directly from the IB syllabus and assessment criteria, prioritising weaker topics. In exam years, I focus on IB past papers and detailed markscheme analysis. For IAs and the EE, I give precise feedback aligned with IB criteria, so students know exactly how to secure top band marks. I also share practical exam strategies that I used myself to achieve strong results.
