Tutoring Experience

I’ve taught IB students in Maths AA, Chemistry, Physics and English A, mainly working with students preparing for exams or completing coursework such as Internal Assessments, HL Essays and Extended Essays. I’ve supported students across SL and HL topics, helping them review difficult areas of the syllabus and practise past paper questions. In English A, I often help students organise essay arguments and refine analysis, while in maths and sciences we focus on solving IB-style problems clearly.

Tutoring Approach

My sessions usually begin by identifying which IB topics or assessments the student wants to focus on, whether that’s a specific unit or preparing for a paper. We then work through exam-style questions together, paying close attention to the wording of markschemes and how marks are awarded. I encourage students to explain their thinking as they solve problems so we can adjust their approach where needed. For coursework, I help students structure their ideas to align with IB assessment criteria.
