I started working with international students while living abroad and found myself drawn to helping learners navigate the challenges of reading comprehension and essay writing. From annotated poetry to structuring argument-based responses, I’ve guided students through every corner of the IGCSE syllabus, always with a focus on exam readiness and confident expression.

Tutoring Experience

I began tutoring English in 2019 while volunteering with a youth education programme in Kuala Lumpur. I later moved into formal tutoring and taught IGCSE English to students from British schools in Asia and the Middle East. I’ve helped students revise for their final exams, develop analytical writing skills, and strengthen grammar in both group and 1:1 settings. I also supported two home-schooled students in completing their full IGCSE English course over a year. My experience spans both Edexcel and Cambridge syllabi, with a strong focus on helping students achieve clarity in both language and structure.
