Tutoring Experience

I launched "Crafting Your Story" following two years of Admissions Reading for Princeton University, where I read and analysed thousands of applications from around the world.

My fundamental belief is our stories matter and owning your own personal narrative is critical to formulating a successful application.

I work with students on brainstorming essay ideas, strategically approaching the extracurricular activities lists and resume (C.V.), picking a major, and college lists. My students have been accepted into Princeton University, University of Pennsylvania, University of Michigan, University of Chapel Hill – North Carolina, Rutgers University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Bard College, Rider University, Emory University, and many more.

I also work with four other college consulting firms on editing, strategic positioning in the applications, mock interview preparations, and brainstorming selective summer programs and activities to enhance their application.

Tutoring Approach

The most important aspect of my work is the joy I feel when a student tells me,

The process of reflecting on your experiences is a powerful one and helps you understand how to best approach the application process with absolute confidence through owning your narrative.

There is nothing more important in life than reflecting on who you are, what you want and where you are headed.

This is exactly what Admissions officers are looking for: a high level of emotional maturity and confidence to match intellectual capacity.
