I tutor IB Economics SL/HL, IB Maths AI SL, and GCSE and IGCSE Economics. I scored 42/45 in the IB, including a 7 in Economics HL. Tutoring Experience

I offer tuition in IB Economics at SL and HL, IB Maths AI SL, and both GCSE and IGCSE Economics. Economics support covers explaining theory, drawing diagrams, using examples and evaluating arguments. For Maths AI, we can work through calculations, interpret graphs and discuss what an answer means in context. My IB score of 42/45 and Economics background inform this support. Lessons focus on classwork, the topic that needs revisiting or exam questions you want to practise in depth.

Tutoring Approach

Let's take a claim such as 'higher taxes reduce spending' and look at what it means. We'll work through the reasoning, draw the relevant diagram and check the assumptions before writing your answer. In Maths AI, I ask you to explain what your calculation tells you about the situation in the question. We then change part of the example to see whether you can adapt the method. For essays, we look at where an argument needs evidence, a qualification or a clearer link back to the question.
