I’m a STEM tutor with over 15 years’ experience teaching IB Maths AI, Physics and Chemistry, alongside A-Level, IGCSE and GCSE courses. I’ve worked with students across the UK and internationally, often supporting exam prep and IA work. Tutoring Experience

I’ve been teaching IB Maths AI (SL/HL), Chemistry and Physics for over 15 years, alongside A-Level and IGCSE/GCSE. Most of my recent work has been with IB students, helping with exam prep, IA support and difficult HL topics. I also teach A-Level Maths and Sciences, and I’m familiar with how different exam boards assess answers. I’ve worked with students internationally, supporting both long-term learning and intensive revision before exams. I regularly use past papers and track progress over time.

Tutoring Approach

I keep lessons focused on what students actually need for exams. We usually start by identifying weak areas, then go through the concept clearly before applying it to past paper questions. I place a strong emphasis on exam technique, especially how to structure answers and pick up method marks. I adapt sessions depending on the student, but generally aim to build confidence through consistent practice and clear, step-by-step explanations. I also set targeted homework and review mistakes each week.
