Tutoring Experience

As an IB student, I had put in a lot of time and energy to earn my top scores, so I found great satisfaction in being able to use my knowledge, resources and experience to help juniors reap the benefits and achieve their own academic goals.

As my passion for tutoring grew, I expanded to a larger group of tutees. I enjoy strategizing how to help out different types of students with different needs and find immense satisfaction in their progress. While in school, I also tutored young cancer patients in Ain society for 5 months as part of a service program that I spearheaded as the President of the NPS International Interact Club.

Moreover, I was selected by my school to conduct multiple seminars for over sixty juniors while I was nearing the end of IB2 (and was previously asked to do the same in IGCSE)

Tutoring Approach

As a student, I always found that teachers and students alike neglected the importance of knowing how to study effectively, which is why students very commonly feel like they’re putting in so much of effort but not seeing any results. This why I generally try to be as systematic in my teaching as possible, while providing notes and study tips to further assist my students.
