Tutoring Experience

I’ve been tutoring Maths and Physics since 2017, teaching students from GCSE through to IB HL and A-Level. My work includes exam preparation, helping students improve predicted grades, and supporting those moving between different school systems, including British, French and Portuguese curricula. Alongside private tutoring, I work at a European EdTech company where I regularly review student progress, speak with parents and teachers, and help design study plans based on each student’s needs.

Tutoring Approach

I teach in a structured way, usually moving through four stages: understand the topic, practise the method, test it under exam conditions, and then correct weaknesses. Some lessons focus on explaining the theory clearly, while others are built around past-paper questions and targeted practice. I also use a shared progress tracker so students can see what they have covered, what still needs work, and what we are focusing on next. I also set short follow-up work so students practise weak areas between lessons.
