As a recent Mathematics graduate, I am passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals. With over five years of experience in mathematics tutoring and an additional two years in science education, I offer a rich reservoir of knowledge and expertise to guide students through their academic challenges. Tutoring Experience

I have taught A Level Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Spanish, as well as all of the GCSE equivalents for these. All of my students particularly liked my methodology of teaching by example and I was recommended to them by my school. I started giving revision classes during Year 12. I have been teaching through this platform for a year now and my students have given me 5 star reviews. They are engaged by my classes and after a whole year of classes, they have come back to me again this academic year.

I have been doing university classes for over a year now and have had a range of 1st-3rd year students. They have all been very happy with my methods and have reported doing visibly better in exams after my classes. They also noticed their understanding of the subject improved and they felt more confident to sit their exam.

Tutoring Approach

I have a very hands-on approach when it comes to teaching. I firmly believe that by going through examples together and explaining different ways of thinking about problems one can truly understand and master a topic.

It is through constant practice that students achieve their goals and I have seen my methods work for many students. Working smart saves time and increases grades. This approach is quite important for math-based subjects. When it comes to languages, full immersion is crucial. As a Spanish native, I speak through my whole classes in Spanish, but making sure my tutees understand what I am saying at the same time. There is nothing worse than feeling lost within a language. For other sciences such as biology and chemistry I believe asking students to explain concepts to me is the best way to consolidate their knowledge.

I tend to follow up these explanations with challenging questions that deepen their knowledge.
