With over 11 years of dedicated experience as an IB Business Management and Economics tutor, I have had the privilege of working with students from all over the world, helping them achieve academic excellence in both individual and group settings. My teaching journey spans across face-to-face and online formats, where I’ve adapted my approach to meet the evolving needs of the modern learner. Whether working with students preparing for their exams, assisting with their coursework, or guiding them through critical projects like Extended Essays and Internal Assessments, I ensure each lesson is tailored to their unique learning style and goals.

Tutoring Approach

My tutoring sessions are dynamic and interactive, designed to foster a deep understanding of business and economics concepts. Over the years, I’ve supported students from a variety of backgrounds—both in international school environments and private tutoring—helping them navigate the rigorous demands of IB Business Management and Economics curricula. I take pride in offering a structured yet flexible approach, combining clear explanations with real-world applications, ensuring students not only excel in their exams but also develop critical thinking skills and a passion for the subject. My expertise has also extended to helping students achieve remarkable results in external qualifications such as GCSE, IGCSE, and A-Level Business (Edexcel), further solidifying my role as a trusted and results-driven tutor.

The first lesson is all about understanding the student’s needs—what they’re struggling with, what they want to improve, and whether they’d prefer to start from the beginning or jump into the middle of the course. From there, I plan lessons that focus not only on mastering the content but also on honing exam skills. Each session is tailored to help the student gain confidence and tackle their challenges head-on. I consistently assign homework to reinforce what we’ve covered, and we begin each lesson by discussing feedback, ensuring the student is actively engaged in their progress. I believe in using practical, real-life examples that align with the student’s daily experiences, making the subject more relatable and easier to grasp.
