I’m an IB Maths and Physics teacher with over seven years’ experience teaching DP Mathematics AA and MYP Maths in international school settings. My background is in Physics, and I enjoy helping students understand the reasoning behind topics rather than just memorising methods. Tutoring Experience

I’ve taught IB Mathematics AA at both SL and HL level for several years, along with MYP Mathematics. I regularly help IB students with Maths IAs, Extended Essays and revision before final exams. Alongside IB, I’ve worked with students preparing for IGCSE Maths, IGCSE Physics and A-Level Maths. Most of my teaching has been one-to-one or small group sessions focused on exam preparation and difficult syllabus topics, with a strong emphasis on problem solving and exam technique.

Tutoring Approach

My lessons are structured but relaxed. We start by identifying where a student is getting stuck, then break the concept down step by step before applying it to IB-style questions. I focus a lot on method, reasoning and exam technique, especially for AA HL topics and physics problem solving. Students usually leave with clear strategies they can apply in their own revision and practice, and a stronger understanding of how to approach unfamiliar exam questions confidently.
