Tutoring Experience

I’ve taught IB students across Maths AA SL, Economics SL/HL, Geography SL/HL, Physics SL and English A SL, alongside IGCSE Maths and Sciences. I previously tutored IGCSE mathematics students, where I created structured lesson plans and short revision guides linked to the syllabus. Much of the work focused on analysing practice papers, identifying recurring mistakes, and helping students improve their exam responses through question practice and clearer understanding of key concepts.

Tutoring Approach

My lessons usually start with the topics a student is currently covering at school or areas they find difficult. We work through IB-style questions together so students can see how concepts appear in exams, whether it’s solving Maths problems, structuring Economics answers, or analysing English texts. I encourage students to explain their thinking as we go. This helps me see where they’re stuck and adjust the explanation so the method becomes clearer and easier to apply independently.
