Tutoring Experience

I began tutoring at 14, teaching French and developing students’ written and spoken fluency. I later supported IB students across Maths AA and essay-based subjects at SL and HL. I served as a Peer Mentor for two years, working with students of varied abilities and learning styles. Promoted to Head of the programme, I trained and guided 20 mentors through workshops and curriculum planning. I also deliver LNAT preparation, focusing on logical reasoning and high-scoring essay writing for UK law admissions.

Tutoring Approach

I begin by identifying how each student learns best and where they are losing marks. Lessons start with reviewing recent work to pinpoint gaps against the IB markscheme. We address weaknesses through structured explanation, targeted practice and timed questions. I emphasise command terms, logical structure and exam technique to maximise marks consistently in assessments. When students struggle, I revisit core concepts to remove misconceptions and rebuild confidence step by step.
