Tutoring Experience

I’ve taught IB Psychology across SL and HL for several years within international schools, working with students from a wide range of cultural and academic backgrounds. My role has included curriculum planning, assessment design and guiding students through their Internal Assessments from proposal to final draft. Over the past three years, my IB classes have consistently achieved strong results, with many students securing 6s and 7s in both papers and coursework across multiple cohorts.

Tutoring Approach

My lessons are structured but relaxed. We focus closely on command terms, essay structure and using studies accurately rather than memorising everything. I place strong emphasis on evaluation and critical thinking, which is essential for HL. For IAs, I guide students step by step through research design, ethical considerations and analysis, making sure their work meets IB criteria clearly. I also adapt tasks depending on how each student processes and retains information.
