Tutoring Experience

I’ve taught IB Maths Analysis & Approaches and IB Computer Science, helping students move from 4s to 7s in assessed units through targeted practice and feedback. I also organised and led structured small-group IGCSE Maths support sessions, where students improved their summative results by around 10 percent. I’ve prepared pre-university students for IELTS, enabling them to exceed top UK university requirements, and regularly support students in the lead-up to mocks and final exams.

Tutoring Approach

Lessons are structured but easygoing. For IB Maths AA, we focus on clear working and method marks, especially in calculus and functions. In IB Economics and Business, I emphasise definitions, diagrams and balanced evaluation for 10 and 15 mark questions. For IGCSE Maths, we build fluency through regular exam practice. With IELTS, we work on structured writing and precise language to meet band descriptors. I also make sure students understand why answers earn marks, not just how to memorise them.
