Tutoring Experience

I’ve taught IB students in Biology, English A Language & Literature, and French B, helping them review difficult topics and prepare for assessments. Much of my work focuses on explaining Biology concepts clearly, supporting literary commentary practice, and helping students improve written French. I often review students’ previous assignments or tests to identify gaps, then use targeted practice questions and past-paper material so they become familiar with IB expectations and exam style questions.

Tutoring Approach

I usually start by asking students to send recent work or topics they find difficult so I can prepare a focused lesson. During sessions, we go through key ideas step by step and apply them to IB-style questions, whether that’s analysing a text, answering Biology exam questions, or practising French responses. I encourage students to explain their thinking so I can guide them more effectively. I also share past papers, short quizzes, and concise notes to reinforce what we cover and revisit key points at the end.
