Tutoring Experience

I have taught students one-to-one and online across IB Economics, Business Management and Mathematics. My work includes explaining economic models, diagrams and evaluation, developing stronger case-study and essay responses, and supporting quantitative problem-solving in Maths AA and AI. I also use past papers, mark schemes and targeted study plans and timed work to identify recurring weaknesses, improve answer structure and prepare students for timed assessments across SL and HL.

Tutoring Approach

I plan lessons around the marks a student is currently losing. In Economics and Business we move from theory into diagrams, case studies, application and evaluation, with close attention to command terms and answer structure. Maths sessions focus on method choice, accurate working, careful checking and unfamiliar problems. I use past papers and mark schemes throughout, then set targeted practice so recurring errors are addressed and students can apply the same skill independently.
